We are looking to recruit an inspector of CAT B1 aviation equipment for our client Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth. In your future position you will be responsible for the performance of quality inspections and findings on materials, components and assemblies using destructive and non-destructive tests.

Task description

  • Inspection, testing, documentation and assurance of product conformity for all specified quality testing steps up to delivery of the product
  • Identification of all deviations on the product and on the tool as well as performance of system tests to ensure contractual conformity, airworthiness, traffic safety and approvals
  • Assurance of compliance with legal aviation requirements in the scope of authorisations
  • Inspection and optimisation of existing test procedures for improvement potentials with the execution of their implementation measures 
  • Support of employees in testing tasks as well as instruction in problem cases
  • Execution of the test procedures using the quality management system
  • Preparation and processing of quality notifications and proposing changes in the event of deviations from the required quality standards
  • Preparation and execution of block releases such as ground run release and flight release as well as participation in internal audits

Requirements

  • Vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or industrial mechanic with a qualification as a master or engineer
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of mechanics, quality management and quality assurance as well as in technical documentation and aerospace
  • Experience as an inspector and reliable handling of production documents
  • Knowledge of military maintenance procedures, processes and documentation
  • Valid CAT B1 licence
  • Confident user of MS Office, MS Access and SAP
  • Knowledge of PPS
  • Fluent command of German and good knowledge of English
