For our customer Lufthansa Technik AG we are looking for a Purchasing Manager in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel. In your future position, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all strategic purchasing and cooperation goals.

Task description

  • Preparation and ongoing further development of contracts

  • Determination and implementation of cost reduction potentials and procurement alternatives

  • Preparation of decision documents, presentations, evaluations and analyses

  • Conducting contract negotiations with suppliers

  • Improvement of delivery performance, supply chain and contract quota

  • Execution of market and demand analyses and derivation of measures for the company

Requirements

  • Degree in economics, business administration or technology

  • Several years of professional experience in an international and strategic environment, e.g. in purchasing or sales

  • Experience in the negotiation and coordination of large contracts in the English language

  • Knowledge of relevant legal issues

  • Fluent in German and English
