We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer in Taufkirchen for our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. In your future position you will be responsible for ensuring the quality assurance guidelines and the company's own industrial processes.

Task description

  • Review of the product inspection plan and processing of non-conformities up to delivery of products and services to the customer

  • Review and evaluation of the implementation of quality requirements defined in the quality management system (QMS) and quality plan

  • Definition and ensuring the implementation of product controls

  • Processing of non-conformities and special releases as well as monitoring of corrective and preventive measures and adaptation of standards

  • Definition of production controls and ensuring their compliance as well as consolidation of documentation for quality assurance and creation of the certificate of conformity

  • Inspection in the field of production and manufacturing of electronic assemblies and devices as well as highly reliable crimp and solder connections according to ECSS standard

  • Inspection of incoming and outgoing goods of modules and devices as well as quality assurance during the production of electronic modules and devices, e.g. inspection of production documentation, kitting inspection, hardware inspection, configuration inspection 

  • Implementation of MIPs on modules and devices with the participation of the end customer

  • Preparation of error messages and their processing including moderation and responsibility quality-related support of assembly qualification of electronic components and assemblies

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in electrical technology or the aerospace industry

  • Or alternatively vocational training in the area of electronics or electronics for technical aeronautical systems with many years of experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering/electrics, quality assurance and several years of knowledge in testing and soldering electronic components.

  • Confident user of MS Office

  • Fluent command of German and good knowledge of English

  • Decisiveness and systematic thinking
