For our customer we are looking for an Incoming Goods Inspector in Dresden. In the future position, you will be responsible for checking the required certificates and independently assessing conformity with the applicable aviation law requirements.

Task description

  • Timely control, efficient execution and documentation of incoming goods inspections, e.g. of large components or drawing and standard parts

  • Storage and administration of the original documents supplied with the aircraft and provision of these for familiarisation with the aircraft delivery documentation

  • Creation and processing of complaint reports

  • Final decision and, if necessary, provision of the rejected components from the blocked warehouse for return delivery

  • Collaboration in storage time monitoring as well as management and monitoring of stocks in the blocked warehouse

  • Control in shipping

Requirements

  • Completed training in a metalworking or electronic occupational field

  • Professional experience in aerospace or similar industries, ideally in quality testing

  • Airbus Type Knowledge Course Level 1 as well as EASA/FAA Aviation Law Training Level 1 required

  • Authorization to carry out conductivity tests stage 1 as well as incoming and outgoing goods tests on aircraft-typical devices

  • Very good knowledge of the Airbus drawing system as well as the special software PFIS-EFW, PFIS A-D, AIMS, zamiz and AirGTI32

  • Safe handling of MS Office and SAP

  • Good knowledge of German and English

  • Willingness to work shifts
