In your future position in Manching at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, you will be responsible, among other things, for incoming inspections after arrival of the aircraft for maintenance measures.

Task description

  • Inspection and testing during production, maintenance, repairs and test phases

  • Testing of software products of the weapon system Eurofighter

  • Support in root cause analysis in case of deviations

  • Assistance in the development of corrective and preventive measures and in finding solutions

  • Release of aircraft for ground run or flight operations and support during and after flight phases.

  • Final inspection before delivery of the aircraft to our customers

  • Observation and testing of the work environment, equipment, hardware, tools, etc. for conformity with the applicable operational and safety requirements

Requirements

  • Completed training as aircraft mechanic or aircraft builder

  • Qualification as a technician/master in aerospace is mandatory

  • Several years of professional experience in aerospace and aircraft construction

  • CAT B2 exam required

  • Knowledge of the Eurofighter weapon system advantageous

  • Experienced handling of SAP, experience in handling OPAL and SASPF desirable

  • Fluent German and advanced English skills

  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends
