We are looking to recruit a self-auditor in equipment electronics for our client Airbus Operations GmbH. In your future position, you will be responsible for the drafting of test procedures for testing equipment.

Task description

  • Inspection of the state of construction for compliance with the development specifications as well as client and approval requirements
  • Creation of test programmes for testing equipment according to specifications
  • Installation and manufacturing of electrical components and parts by means of labelling, armouring, laying, connecting, assembling and soldering
  • Modification of programmes and examination of system functions according to specification
  • Preparation and performance of functional tests and ground test instructions (GTI) as well as troubleshooting and fault rectification
  • Adjustment of electrical components for equipment panels, circuit boards and sections, as well as torquing and securing them
  • Performance of electrical quantity checks and continuity tests
  • Preparation, tracking, clarification and documentation of complaints.

Requirements

  • Vocational training as aircraft electronics engineer, alternatively in another profession involving electronics with relevant job experience
  • Qualification as a self-auditor absolutely necessary
  • Many years of professional experience in manufacturing and production and electronics, as well as some experience in quality assurance
  • Airbus experience required
  • Confident user of MS Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of ARP, IRS and Care advantageous
  • Class B driving licence
  • Good German and advanced English skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts in a 2-shift rota as well as to go on business trips to Hamburg and Bordeaux
