We are looking to recruit a simulation and test engineer for our client, Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth. In your future position you will be responsible for providing support with simulation and test tool suites used for the validation and verification (V&V) of helicopter developmenets, mainly in the area of avionics.

Task description

  • Determination of requirements, preparation of a roadmap for requests and their continuous updating
  • Specification of functional requirements for the implementation of requests
  • Validation and management of the tool suite in your business environment
  • Monitoring of the applied test systems with regard to hardware and software as well as ensuring the execution of measures
  • Development, integration, maintenance and support of test scenarios in the test system for end users
  • Responsibility for the continuous and efficient improvement of test systems and processes
  • Interface for the IT team and the French development team

Requirements

  • Degree in the area of engineering, electrical and system technology and aerospace engineering
  • Expertise in engineering and IT and information systems
  • Knowledge of simulation, test scenarios and avionics desirable
  • Good MS Office, Unix/Linux, Windows, C++, Qt and Matlab skills
  • Fluent command of English, knowledge of German and French advantageous
