In your future position in Manching with our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, you will be responsible for contributing to the concept and design of Tornado Operational Ground Support Systems (TOGSS) and implementing a graphic user interface, amongst other things.

Task description

  • Creation of regulation-compliant documentation and implementation of approval procedures for the Federal Aviation Authority (LufABw) and Quality Assurance Office (GPS)
  • Implementation of loading log and program logic
  • Creation of development documentation for the relevant area of responsibility
  • Monitoring of approval documentation in accordance with approval and quality assurance procedures of the contracting authority for submission to the GPS and LufABw
  • Contribution to quality assurance approval tests and the quality assurance office, as well as with the end client (compatibility tests)
  • Analysis and evaluation of available loading and communication logs
  • Implementation of TOGSS application tests in simulated and real hardware environments
  • Support in the creation of concepts for new loading systems and test procedures

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • At least 5 years' professional experience in engineering and information systems as well as 3 years in aerospace
  • Expertise in creating formal development documentation
  • Good knowledge of the approval and quality assurance procedures of the Federal Aviation Authority (LufABw) and Quality Assurance Office (GPS)
  • Experience in document development standards in the area of Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA)
  • Very good knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
  • Confident use of MS Office and expert knowledge of XML, UML, C++, Windows 7 & 10, Windows API, MS Visual Studio, Java and Eclipse, as well as in the development of graphic user interfaces
  • Experience creating multi-thread applications using MS Windows and network communication protocols
  • Very good knowledge of military bus systems and interfaces such as Panavia Link, Stanag 3838 and Stanag 3910
  • Fluent command of German and English
