Help one of our customers in the area of ALtenburg as a structural engineer for faster, better and more efficient products. In your future job, you will be responsible for the preparation of FE models and performing static and dynamic analyses, amongst other things.

Task description

  • Approval and release of technical documents in the field of composite ducting - ATA21
  • Compliance with design guidelines and specifications for production-ready design
  • Processing, checking and release of complaint reports
  • Preparation and delivery of data for an opportunity request on technology, dates and costs
  • Determination of design principles and specification preparation
  • Preparation of FE models and execution of static and dynamic analyses
  • Design, development and static verification of composite components
  • Technical support for component qualification according to customer requirements
  • Planning and execution of engineering tests to validate calculation approaches and to determine material characteristic values
  • Examination and control of the construction documents (release process) as well as evaluation of deviations (DQN and concession process)

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in the field of mechanical engineering, business engineering, aerospace engineering or civil engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in construction and/or calculations
  • Expertise in component optimisation of composites and knowledge of manufacturing processes for composite components
  • Knowledge of aviation, especially in the field of ATA21
  • Confident user of CATIA V5, NASTRAN / PATRAN, VBA, VPM, MS Office, ZAMIZ and SAP
  • Fluent command of English
  • Communication skills and an independent way of working should round off your profile
