We are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Manager for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Bremen. In your future position you will be a part in the procurement community.

Task description

  • Responsibility of managing contract execution and supplier delivery performance
  • Controlling effectively the activities of our supplier and developing a close understanding of supplier overall situation and scope
  • Playing a key role in the coordination of the multiple interfaces between all stakeholders involved in the supplier operations management (like suppliers, projects, manufacturing etc.)
  • Working closely together with our Commodity Managers and the respective multifunctional teams
  • Focal point towards the supplier for all operational activities, the mission is to implement sustainable improvements of the supply chain performance

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics or in the field of the aviation industry
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, engineering and 3 years in supply chain management
  • Experience in project management and in space infrastructure phase projects
  • Knowledge with ESA and NASA (esp. Human Spaceflight) or with other space agencies highly appreciated
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent command of German and Englisch, basic French skills would be an advantage
  • German and English CV´s are required
