System engineer for on-orbit avionic subsystems (m/f/x)

Enhance your professional success as a system engineer and realise your vision together with ARTS. In your future position you will be based in Bremen for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH and, among other duties, will be responsible for developing and describing technical concepts.

Task description

  • Analysis of client requirements and evaluation of the technical and financial impacts
  • Devising, designing and specifying products, subsystems and systems in accordance with customer requirements
  • Definition of the approach to validation
  • Creation of technical analyses and technical budgets
  • Interface definition and analysis of internal and external interdependencies
  • Technical coordination and monitoring of interfaces and external suppliers
  • Monitoring subsystems in terms of technical requirements, functionality, reliability and processes
  • Designing and creating technical documentation (development and test plans, descriptions and verification documents)
  • Carrying out technical consultations and reviews
  • Definition of qualification and acceptance tests including test support
  • Analysis and assessment of test results

Requirements

  • University degree in electrical engineering, engineering or aerospace
  • At least 3 years' professional experience in development
  • Initial experience in avionics system engineering and in the area of digital and analogue electronic development
  • Very good knowledge of embedded systems, bus systems and processors
  • Knowledge of aerospace-specific processes is desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent command of German and English
  • Willingness to travel should round off your profile
