System Engineer for Software Integration (m/f)

We are looking for a systems engineer for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching. In your future position you will be responsible for the development, documentation and maintenance of test support software and simulation models.

Task description

  • Analysis of system requirements, software design and code as well as the derivation of test requirements
  • Classification of the test cases and support for project reviews
  • Simulation of flight scenarios to demonstrate the required functionality and operational safety
  • Designing of test cases and implementation in the form of test scripts in the test environment MaTE
  • Implementation of regression and engineering tests
  • Evaluation and analysis of fault memory entries of the target hardware
  • Analysis and documentation of detected software problems
  • Supporting the software and system designers in the analysis and troubleshooting problems
  • Performing stress tests and participating in the computing time optimisation of the software
  • analysis of hardware problems as well as the further development of the target hardware
  • creation of project documentation in accordance with standards of the Eurofighter (EF SSDS)

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering studies in the field of aerospace or electrical engineering
  • At least 3 years of job-related experience in engineering and in the aerospace industry
  • Experience in software integration and testing is mandatory
  • Knowledge on the Eurofighter is desirable
  • Practical experience in working with the MaTE test system is advantageous
  • Very good MS Office knowledge and programming skills
  • Fluent English and basic German skills
