System engineer for the Tornado loading system (m/f/x)

We are looking to recruit a system engineer for the Tornado loading system in Manching for our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH. In your future position, you will be responsible for implementing a graphic user interface, as well as the operational software at the design level, among other things.

Task description

  • Implementation of customer requests in accordance with V model in design and code TOGSS-TSS2
  • Creation of approval documentation including interfaces on the authority side in accordance with the approval and quality assurance procedures of the contracting authority for submission to the Quality Assurance Office (GPS) and the Federal Aviation Authority (LufABw)
  • Contribution to quality assurance approval tests and the quality assurance office, as well as with the end client (compatibility tests)
  • Analysis and evaluation of available loading and communication logs
  • Coordination of development and testing activities
  • Assurance of correct implementation of client requirements in the final product
  • Support in the creation of concepts for new loading systems

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • At least 5 years' professional experience in engineering and information systems as well as 3 years in aerospace
  • Experience in software development of security-critical systems and in the area of Tornado avionics is desirable
  • Exceptional skills in creating formal development documentation
  • Very good knowledge of document development standards in the area of Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) is essential
  • Confident user of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of XML, UML, C++, Windows 7 & 10, Windows API, MS Visual Studio, Java and Eclipse
  • Expertise in military bus systems and interfaces such as Panavia Link, Stanag 3838 and Stanag 3910 and their hyper protocols
  • Fluent command of German and English
