System security engineer for mission aircraft (m/f)

We are looking to recruit a system security engineer for mission aircraft for our client, Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, in Manching. In your future position you will be responsible for the optimisation of aircraft system security.

Task description

  • Optimisation of system security during the entire life-cycle for mission aircraft as well as avionics and mission systems
  • Establishment of risks and security requirements
  • Generation, assessment and evaluation of fault tree analyses within the scope of system security analyses
  • Collaboration in the development of system architecture as well as the definition and development of security-orientated test specifications
  • Function as an interface between the fields of system design, tests, reliability, maintenance, pilots and airworthiness
  • Deployment of pilot and maintenance procedures
  • Coordination of suppliers as well as testing of relevant data

Requirements

  • Completed degree in the field of engineering or aerospace
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering, ideally in the field of system safety process
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in the aerospace sector
  • Knowledge of the use of MIL-STD-882E and ARP4761 standards is essential
  • Confident user of MS Office and basic knowledge of Doors
  • Expertise using AMCs such as CS-ACNS would be advantageous
  • Fluent command of German and English
