Expand your professional success as a technical editor in the field of maintenance documentation and realize your visions together with ARTS. In your future position at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will be responsible for obtaining the necessary information as well as creating, adapting and nationalising data modules on the basis of the existing specifications for creating AirCrew documentation.

Task description

  • Independent planning of the data modules to be processed for the corresponding task areas.

  • Verification of data modules with system engineers and test pilots

  • Responsibility for the product assurance of the flight manuals and checklists that have been drawn up

  • Preparation of supplements for the flight manuals and evaluation of the checklists as well as training of flight test reports

  • Processing of customer comments (IPRFs) and preparation of regular progress reports for customers

  • Technical and temporal coordination with the partner companies and the respective required departments of the German Air Force

  • Participation in internal and external meetings and representation of interests

  • Creation, configuration, updating and management of technical data and publications

Requirements

  • Completed studies in aeronautics and space travel

  • Training as a pilot or weapons system officer on combat/mission/transport aircraft is a mandatory requirement

  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing and production, in the aerospace industry and in technical documentation

  • Know-how in ILS Configation Management required

  • Safe handling of MS Office

  • Knowledge of the tools SGML Editor, IETP-X, PDM and CSDB is desirable.

  • Very good knowledge of German and English
