We are looking for a Test Engineer for our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching. In your future position you will be responsible for supporting user stories generation associated to the modifications applicable to Eurofighter (EF) subsystems.

Task description

  • Setup of a test environment for the overall EF Weapon System Simulation (WSS)
  • Supporting the installation and maintaining of Pilot Synthetic Training System (PSTS) related training devices
  • Development of acceptance test manuals and test stories on system level
  • Supporting generation of test stories documents especially from WSS and setup of an automatic test tools and respective assessment
  • Performance and supporting of test and acceptance activities covering PSTS and subsystems applicable to EF avionics
  • Supporting formal acceptance tests at the Joint Integration Facility as well as of the formal design reviews especially EF subsystems 
  • Actively support the system integration activities related to the WSS subsystems
  • Supporting type acceptance and individual acceptance process

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, alernatively in computer sciences, with focus on simulation and modeling 
  • At least 3 years experience in system integration and testing as well as in Engineering
  • Detalied knowledge in integration and system testing, formal acceptance testing, independent verification and validation as well as operational deployment
  • Expericence in aircraft software development and military training systems/simulators engineering as well as design advantageous
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • CV in German and English is required
