Enhance your professional success as a Process Mechanic for Plastics Technology and realise your vision together with ARTS. In your future position you will be based in Dresden for our customer Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH and, among other duties, will be responsible for the production of sandwich and laminate components.

Task description

  • Production of sandwich and laminate components made of fibre composite materials according to the existing work orders, constructive documents, operating instructions and technical requirements
  • Assembly, menu production and hand structure as well as the repair of components according to the working documents
  • Operation of special hand led and stationary machines, drilling, trimming and gluing systems, transport systems, cutting and unwinding devices as well as laminating forms and templates
  • Execution of cutting and reconstruction work in the manufacturing and in the hand structure
  • Recognising and pointing out material and processing errors

Requirements

  • Completed training as process mechanic for plastics technology, alternatively in another plastics or metal processing profession with job-related experience
  • Several years of professional experience and practical knowledge in the processing of plastics from CFC or CSF
  • Advanced German and basic English skills
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office and in the reading of technical drawings
  • Willingness to do shift-work in the 3-shift system
