Expand your professional success as a work planner on the AWACS aircraft and realize your visions together with ARTS. In your future position at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching you will be responsible for the definition and optimisation of the manufacturing processes taking into account technical and economic aspects.

Task description

  • Preparation of work plans and production instructions for maintenance work on the aircraft AWACS, taking into account the valid and approved documentation.

  • Implementation of design changes or changes to the valid regulations for AWACS in work plans and ensuring that they are up to date

  • Planning of component production and preparation of work plans to eliminate malfunctions that occur

  • Development of technical solutions in the event of malfunctions

  • Clarification of problems in relation to work plans, material, documents and execution logic

  • Calculation of standard times under consideration of time determination methods

  • Interaction with all production and support areas as well as the responsible engineering areas

  • Collaboration in future-oriented projects

Requirements

  • Completed studies in engineering, aircraft construction or aerospace engineering

  • Alternatively completed technician training with several years of professional experience

  • Many years of professional experience in manufacturing and production, maintenance and repair, as well as aerospace and aviation

  • Very good knowledge of production planning and manufacturing engineering as well as sample installation

  • Experience with the E-3A aircraft is an advantage

  • Experienced handling of MS Office, in particular MS Excel and macro generation

  • Fluent in German and basic English, knowledge of Spanish desirable

  • Willingness to work shifts and Saturdays
