Expand your professional success as a Work Planner on the AWACS aircraft and realize your visions together with ARTS. In your future position at our customer Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will be responsible for the definition and optimization of manufacturing processes, taking technical and economic aspects into account.

Task description

  • Preparation of work plans and production instructions for maintenance work on the P-3C aircraft, taking into account the valid and approved documentation

  • Implementation of design changes or changes to the valid regulations for P-3C in work plans and ensuring that they are up to date

  • Planning of component production and preparation of work plans to eliminate malfunctions that occur

  • Development of technical solutions in the event of malfunctions

  • Clarification of problems in relation to work plans, material, documents and execution logic

  • Calculation of standard times under consideration of time determination methods

  • Interaction with all production and support areas as well as the responsible engineering areas

  • Collaboration in future-oriented project


  • Degree in engineering or aerospace engineering

  • Alternatively completed training as technician/master with several years of professional experience

  • Many years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing and production, quality management, maintenance and repair as well as aviation and aerospace

  • Very good knowledge of the GAF T.O. system. System required

  • Experience with the P-3C Orion aircraft is desirable

  • Experienced handling of MS Office, MS Access and SAP

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Willingness to work shifts and Saturdays
