Tasks

  • Professional maintenance – You are responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrolysis systems and working on the cells.
  • Care and precision – You take defective cells out of service, check them carefully, and apply your technical skills in a targeted manner.
  • Responsible handling – You dispose of residual materials properly and handle platinum electrodes and scrap with particular care.
  • Operational support – You empty tank cars containing raw materials such as ammonia and sulfuric acid, repair minor damage, and check the pipelines.
  • Teamwork – You work closely with production, logistics, and engineering to ensure smooth operations.

Qualification

  • Your qualifications – You have completed vocational training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic, industrial electronics technician, chemical technician, machine fitter, or electrical fitter.
  • Your knowledge (advantageous) – Ideally, you are familiar with the APS plant, in particular electrolysis, as well as the ammonia and sulfuric acid tank farm.
  • Your working style – You are characterized by a high degree of technical skill and diligence. You handle hazardous materials, electricity, and exhaust gases responsibly and act in an environmentally conscious manner.
  • Your skills – You are fluent in German, ideally also have a good command of English, and are confident in using Microsoft products.
