In addition to managing the flow of goods, they take on planning tasks and strive for high efficiency and the optimization of logistics processes.
The everyday work of warehouse logistics specialists includes both physical activities in the warehouse itself as well as organisational and strategic office activities and is thus very varied. However, this also results in a broader profile of requirements. This includes, among other things, physical ability, mathematical knowledge, computer and foreign language skills as well as independence, organizational talent and a sense of responsibility.

Warehouse logistics specialists take on tasks in incoming and outgoing goods as well as internal logistics processes. For example, they are responsible for the correct acceptance of all consignments of goods. This also includes checking the condition of the goods, for example for external damage, as well as checking the completeness of the associated delivery documents. In the warehouse itself, warehouse logistics specialists carry out, among other things, physical stocktaking and ensure proper management and documentation of stocks in corresponding logistics systems. Within the scope of their field of activity, they take on special tasks as required on the instructions of their superiors.
