Tasks

• Support in handling day-to-day accounting processes and ensuring smooth accounting procedures
• Determination and posting of provisions in accordance with current commercial and tax law requirements
• Compilation and preparation of documents, especially in the area of fixed assets, to support the annual audit
• Preparation of outgoing invoices, credit notes and the posting of vendor invoices
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and the associated documentation
• Reconciliation of accounts, regular review of provision accounts and clarification of any differences
• Monthly control of ARAP and PRAP accounts (prepaid expenses and deferred income) for accurate financial reporting
• Ongoing monitoring and clarification of debtor and creditor accounts to ensure data integrity

Qualification

• Completed training as an accountant, financial accountant, tax clerk or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in accounting or finance
• Extensive practical experience in national and international accounting as well as sound knowledge of current tax law
• Confident handling of MS Office, including detailed functions, as well as expertise in SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP systems
• Business fluent in German and proficient in English
• A valid work permit for the EU
