Tasks

• Pre-assembly of individual parts and assemblies (drilling, countersinking and reaming)
• Application of modern joining techniques (riveting, screwing and gluing)
• Processing of universal rivets, precision rivets (Hi-Lite, Hi-Lok) and blind rivets
• Proper use and processing of sealing compounds
• Carrying out reworking or improvements and repairs
• Assembly of modules in compliance with the highest quality standards
• Working according to quality guidelines and careful documentation of all work steps

Qualification

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic
• Proven experience in the metal sector or as a carpenter with IHK or HWK qualification
• Great interest and enthusiasm for the aviation industry
• Willingness to attend a 4-week riveting course at the start of the job
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends, shifts and overtime in 3-shift operation
• Own vehicle and valid driving licence
• Valid work permit for the EU
