Aircraft Mechanic as Aircraft Inspector (m/f/x)

As an Aircraft Inspector, you will play a key role in the quality assurance and operational readiness of the NH90. The maximum gross annual salary is €55,300. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU.

Tasks

  • Independent support and testing of NH90 helicopters on site, including approval to ensure airworthiness and contractual conformity
  • Carrying out assembly and maintenance work on complex systems and equipment, including functional tests
  • Creating and processing test plans and reviewing technical documents (e.g. drawings, digital production orders)
  • Monitoring and coordinating assembly processes and maintenance events, including functional tests
  • Use of inspection and test equipment, manual tools and machines in accordance with production specifications
  • Processing and documentation in the digital production system, incl. error description and proof of quality
  • Use of and compliance with construction documents, production specifications and documents accompanying production
  • Ensuring compliant documentation and contractual requirements in military aviation projects

Qualification

  • Completed technical training as an aircraft mechanic or comparable with additional qualification as a master craftsman
  • Additional qualification as an inspector - existing basic modules according to EASA Part-66 for CS-CAT B1/B2 required
  • Several years of professional experience as an inspector on aircraft and in quality assurance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NH90 systems
  • Advanced knowledge of German (at least B2) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU is mandatory
