Aircraft Mechanic as Certifying Staff CAT A (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Carrying out certified maintenance and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems of the A350 and A380 fleet
  • Support with routine checks, troubleshooting and rectification of technical faults in accordance with manufacturer specifications and aviation regulations
  • Carrying out turnaround checks, functional tests and simple repairs in line maintenance
  • Documenting the work carried out in the digital maintenance systems in accordance with aviation guidelines
  • Close cooperation with CAT B1/B2-licensed technicians and the engineering team to optimise maintenance processes
  • Compliance with all safety and quality-relevant regulations in the international aviation environment 

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an aircraft maintenance mechanic, mechanic or a comparable, alternative qualification with initial professional experience
  • Basic knowledge of CAT A and regular further training in the areas of fuel tank safety, human factors and EWIS
  • Initial experience in the area of maintenance
  • MOE knowledge, familiarisation with IQ-Move, SMS Initial WBT and Composite Awareness are desirable
  • Proficient English and good German language skills
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
  • Apron driving licence and work permit for the EU (no student visa) required
