Tasks

  • Effective operational management of personnel: preparation, guidance, execution and supervision of work assignments
  • Close co-operation and regular reporting to the Work Package Leader
  • Comprehensive mechanical and structural work and installations on aircraft and components according to specifications
  • Assembly and installation of components, sub-assemblies and main assemblies
  • Application of various aircraft assembly procedures
  • Pre-assembly of components and individual parts for sub-assemblies
  • Structural assembly, drilling, riveting and surface protection (rivet head application, seal seam preservation)
  • Carrying out adjustment work and functional tests as well as preparatory work for quality testing
  • Maintaining documentation and confirming the measures carried out, working independently according to plans and regulations

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or similar technical training (e.g. car mechanic, industrial mechanic, plant mechanic, fitter)
  • Professional experience in aircraft production is an advantage, but not required
  • Experience in mechanics, industrial mechanics or precision mechanics as well as in manufacturing and production
  • Confident handling of MS Office, expertise in SAP an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Valid work permit for the EU
