Aviation Equipment Planning Engineer (m/f/x)

The gross annual salary is between €40,600 and a maximum of €54,700, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Tasks

  • Planning, development and modification of equipment and devices for engine assembly/disassembly
  • Management and collaboration on repair development projects and capacity building of engine lines/shops
  • Optimisation of workflows and processes in equipment planning and development
  • Documentation in accordance with legal and Lufthansa Technik specifications (material master data, test instructions, CE conformity)
  • Specification, tendering and procurement of equipment from an economic point of view
  • Implementation of development projects within the framework of Lufthansa Technik development operations (EASA DOA 21J)
  • Coordination with the purchasing department to implement relevant purchasing processes (according to IQ-Move)
  • Assumption of special tasks as well as cooperation and management of projects

Qualification

  • Completed training as a technical draughtsman
  • Several years of experience in project management and fixture construction
  • Sound business knowledge and basic knowledge of CAD (Siemens NX, Teamcenter)
  • Good knowledge of design and machine guidelines (e.g. CE, EN, DIN) as well as engine components, materials and repair procedures
  • Experience with relevant aircraft construction regulations and other regulations
  • Good IT skills (SAP R/3, MS Office)
  • Very good knowledge of English and German
  • Existing work permit for the European Union (no student visa)
