Tasks

• Anticipatory planning of the material spectrum to ensure constant material availability and optimal coverage
• Carrying out urgent procurements and immediate measures to ensure rapid supply
• Coordinating and coordinating the introduction of new components in collaboration with relevant teams
• Liaising with suppliers, resolving quality issues and monitoring revalidation and lead time extension measures
• Working closely with interfaces such as purchasing, quality assurance, logistics, engineering and production to ensure smooth processes
• Managing and coordinating the supply chain relationship with suppliers, including capacity checks, leading negotiations and following up on improvement measures
• Assisting in identifying solutions to supply issues and improving replenishment times and minimising costs
• Participation in multi-functional teams for continuous supply chain improvement, OTD1 collaboration and inventory management to achieve KPI targets

Qualification

• Completed commercial training (at least technician/specialist) and relevant additional qualifications such as technician or master craftsman
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing and supply chain management
• Detailed user knowledge of MS Office and SAP/R3
• Business fluent in German and English
• Existing work permit for the EU
