Aviation Maintenance Engineer (m/f/x)

On behalf of our client, Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for a Aviation Maintenance Engineer at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. The salary ranges from €73,000 to a maximum of €75,900 depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider applicants with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Tasks

  • Full lifecycle management of production equipment – from procurement to decommissioning
  • Development of maintenance plans and analysis of recurring technical issues
  • Supplier management: acting as the main contact for machine manufacturers and maintenance providers
  • Ensuring high technical availability at optimal cost and time efficiency
  • Implementation of new IT technologies and processes in the maintenance environment
  • Management of technical data and job processing in SAP
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Production, Quality, and Jigs & Tools

Qualification

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field (at least Bachelor's level)
  • Several years of professional experience in maintenance (at least 3 years), plus additional experience in occupational safety, work preparation, and supplier management (each at least 2 years); initial experience in quality management
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Management and Project Management
  • Advanced user skills in SAP and Google Workspace
  • Fluent in German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
