Aviation Quality Inspector (m/f/x)

For our renowned client in the aviation industry in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, we are looking for a committed and experienced Aviation Quality Inspector with a strong planning and analytical mindset. Tasks

  • Comprehensive support and management of reactive quality assurance in the event of quality problems in the assigned sectors or assemblies
  • Management and structuring of regular meetings for the evaluation and follow-up of measures for identified quality deviations
  • Preparation and presentation of key quality indicators in corresponding committees and feedback rounds
  • Processing, analysing and continuously maintaining quality reports in SAP and SharePoint to ensure up-to-date data
  • Supporting the specialist departments in analysing causes using tried-and-tested tools such as 5-Why and Ishikawa diagrams as well as supporting the 8D and 9S process
  • Working closely with the FAI manager to carry out FAIs in accordance with applicable process specifications
  • Active support and expert advice during GEMBA walks and audits to optimise quality standards
  • Taking over the management of assigned projects and responsibility for successful project implementation
  • Promotion and guidance of junior staff to support their professional development in the field of quality assurance

Qualification

  • Successfully completed training as a technician or bachelor's degree (FH/TU) in aircraft construction, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering (production technology), supplemented by a qualification as a quality manager or comparable training
  • Several years of practical experience in quality assurance and quality management within the aviation or automotive supply industry
  • In-depth experience and comprehensive expertise in quality management for the continuous optimisation of processes and standards
  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) for the effective management and presentation of quality data
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Present and valid work permit for the European Union
