Tasks

  • Issuing and returning special tools, operating materials, consumables and protective clothing
  • Performing incoming and outgoing inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining, repairing and inspecting tools and equipment
  • Checking availability, labelling, quality and storage of materials and equipment
  • Reordering and labelling of materials
  • Preparing tool and equipment kits for internal and external customers

 

Qualification

  • Completed vocational training in a metalworking, electrical or logistics profession
  • Solid manual skills and technical understanding
  • Valid in-house driving license for industrial trucks and airport apron driving license required
  • Knowledge of Lufthansa regulations and experience in the proper operation, handling and, if necessary, maintenance of ground support equipment
  • IT skills and experience with equipment management systems
  • Good German and English skills (B2)
  • Physically fit and fully able to work in shifts (currently night shift, possibly rotating shift in the future)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
