Tasks

• Responsibility for system definition and architecture in the area of Ground Handling & Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
• Creation of technical specifications for helicopter ground functions and ground support equipment
• Planning, development and qualification of GSE and Ground Functions
• Ensuring and maintaining technical documentation in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Management and monitoring of supplier and service provider activities
• Validation of tools and procedures (e.g. using Virtual / Augmented Reality)
• Assessment of compliance in accordance with the Product Safety Act and Machinery Directive
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and direct contact with customers and suppliers
  

Qualification

• Degree in engineering or mechanical engineering
  OR successfully completed vocational training with further qualification as a technician and relevant experience
• Several years of professional experience in engineering, design engineering, mechanics and jigs & tools
• Initial experience in project management
• Proficient in CATIA V5 and basic user experience in SAP
• Business fluent in German and English (each at least C1)
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
