Tasks

• Series introduction of new materials & manufacturing processes for the production of cabin & air conditioning components with a focus on lightweight construction as well as technical and optical surfaces
• Carrying out material and process qualifications to characterize the relevant parameters and ensure industrial reproducibility
• Supporting the production lines and locations to ensure a smooth production process
• Involvement of the design department in material and process selection as part of product development

• Supporting the supply chain with supplier qualifications & release audits on site

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering, aerospace, composites, materials science, plastics engineering or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in engineering, plastics and rubber technology as well as in the aerospace industry
• Professional experience in the field of surfaces, paint, film and materials is essential
• Knowledge of lightweight construction methods & plastics technology, fiber-reinforced plastics, test planning and documentation
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for GRP/CFRP components
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
• Business fluent in German and proficient in English

• Existing work permit for the EU
