Digital Application Manager (m/f/x)

Help shape the digital future of aviation!
As part of one of the industry's most ambitious digitalization projects, you will take on technical responsibility for the information systems within Aerospace-X – a digital ecosystem for the international aviation supply chain – as an Digital Application Manager at Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder. You will coordinate use cases, make architectural decisions, and contribute your project management experience in a targeted manner. Does this sound like your next challenge? The gross annual salary is between €82,500 and a maximum of €85,400, depending on qualifications. This position is initially limited until June 30, 2026. Tasks

Responsibility as Information Management (IM) Application Leader within the Aerospace-X program
Technical management of all phases of selected use cases – from qualification to design to implementation
Creation of technical concepts, specifications, and test strategies
Close collaboration with architecture teams and compliance with DECADE-X standards
Management of external resources and budgets
Coordination between French initiatives and German requirements
Assessment of technical feasibility and derivation of non-functional requirements

Qualification

Successfully completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or industrial engineering
Many years of professional experience in IT systems, aerospace, project management, and supply chain management
Experience in process management and ideally in decentralized data architectures and open-source technologies
Proficient in Google Workspace
Very good German skills (at least B2) and business fluent English skills (at least C1), French skills are an advantage
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
Resume in English required
