Electrical Design Engineer Cable Laying at Airbus (m/f/x)

For our client Airbus Operations GmbH, we are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer Cable Laying at the site Hamburg-Finkenwerder. In this position, you will be responsible for the pre-design of electrical wiring systems for the Single Aisle program – from interpreting system requirements to configuration review and data processing. The gross annual salary is between €73,000 and €76,000 depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider applicants with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Tasks

Configuration and pre-definition of electrical cables and their routing and fastening in the single aisle area
Interface between system definition and detailed design of electrical installation and production drawings
Evaluation of technical changes and their effects on existing configurations
Evaluation of data and maintenance in Airbus-specific tools
Collaboration on internal projects in the field of electrical systems

Qualification

Completed vocational training with additional further training as a technician or specialist in the field of electrical engineering
Alternatively, completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable technical studies
Several years of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering/electronics, engineering, design and configuration management
Sound knowledge of electrical systems (ATA 929/928)
In-depth application experience in CATIA V5, Zamiz, Google Workspace and Taksy
Knowledge of Skywise and Trend is an advantage
Proficiency in English (min. C1) and advanced knowledge of German (min. B2)
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
