Tasks

• Coordination of engineering subcontracting - management of external engineering service providers including technical review, problem solving, preliminary design and feasibility studies
• Efficient design development - planning and coordination of time, quality and cost for engineering deliverables, including collaboration with manufacturing and other departments
• Creating precise design specifications - defining device connections, processes, methods and procedures for end-to-end product development
• Development change management - managing modifications in the development process, taking into account time, quality, cost and airworthiness requirements
• Definition of design principles - definition of technical standards for individual parts, assemblies and installation drawings to ensure smooth production
• Validation & Verification (V&V) - Performing test processes according to Airbus design guidelines to ensure compliance with all technical requirements
• Holistic end-to-end planning - Strategic management of the entire design process from conception to production
• Optimization of cooperation - Efficient coordination between engineering service providers, internal departments and production for seamless development processes

Qualification

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, engineering or a comparable field (at least technician or business administrator)
• Several years of professional experience in the areas of configuration management, electrical engineering/electronics, engineering, design and system installation
• Confident handling of design and product data management tools such as Catia V5, CCD, PDMLink, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, vpm and zamiz
• Knowledge of 3D design as well as validation and verification processes is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German and English

• Work permit for the EU mandatory (no student visa)
