Tasks

• Carrying out fire certification in accordance with CS25/FAR25 as part of the certification of components
• Preparation and approval of verification documents with regard to fire properties and material compatibility
• Development of test plans and definition and commissioning of test requirements for test laboratories
• Analysis of test results and preparation and approval of technical documentation
• Approval of construction method decisions for product changes and new developments with regard to fire protection
• Advising the design department on the selection of new materials and technologies, taking fire protection requirements into account
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation standards and guidelines
• Close cooperation with test centers, development and certification departments

Qualification

• Degree in engineering or further training as a technician/master with a focus on aviation or aircraft construction required
• Alternatively, completed training as a technical draftsman specializing in mechanical and systems engineering
• Several years of professional experience in project management and quality management
• Sound knowledge of qualification requirements and documentation in the field of cabin architecture and design, ideally in relation to aircraft interiors such as lavatories or galleys
• Very good knowledge of aviation regulations, especially in connection with aircraft interiors
• Confident, detailed handling of MS Office and SAP as well as experience with CATIA V5
• Business fluent German and English required, at least at C1 level
• Valid and unrestricted work permit for the EU
