Tasks

Independent performance of structural and F&DT calculations in the area of aircraft fuselage
Verification and certification of structural modifications and support with tests
Collaboration on feasibility studies and concept developments for new structural components
Support of the flying fleet (SA, LR, A380, A350) incl. service bulletins and technical inquiries
Monitoring and control of external engineering service providers
Interdisciplinary cooperation with areas such as cabin, airworthiness and customer service

Qualification

Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable technical studies
Many years of professional experience in structural analysis, fatigue & damage tolerance and as a stress engineer
In-depth application knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, Google Workspace, ICC, Nastran and Patran
Initial application experience in Python and Click'n Buy (BySide)
Knowledge of the ISAMI calculation tool required
Business fluent in English (min. C1) and basic knowledge of German (min. A2)

A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
