Equipment Planning Engineer (m/f/x)

Tasks

  • Planning, procurement and commissioning of modern equipment and systems for heat treatment, blasting technology and painting as well as adaptation and modification for maximum performance
  • System analysis and optimization of existing machines and systems
  • Automation-related process optimization to maximize the utilization and effectiveness of production facilities
  • Project work for equipping international and national production facilities (from machine and system procurement to commissioning for optimum production results)
  • Advice and comprehensive support for internal customers in all matters relating to equipment, machines and technical systems for a smooth production environment

 

Qualification

  • Completed university degree in mechanical engineering, production technology or a related technical field
  • First professional experience with machines, systems and technical building equipment; ideally with knowledge of project management and project implementation
  • Basic knowledge of product and operational safety (incl. relevant directives such as the Machinery Directive, ProdSG, BImSchG, TA Luft, BetrSichV)
  • Confident handling of IT systems and common software tools to support technical and administrative processes
  • Proficient knowledge of English, at least B2 level
  • Existing EU work permit
