Tasks

Your mission - More than just cycle times:

Leadership skills: You will develop and lead a team of dispatchers, including operational planning, coaching and conducting performance evaluations.
Dispatching: You will manage national and international long-distance transportation (FTL and route network management).
Process optimization with passion: You optimize the transport processes taking into account economic efficiency, quality and adherence to delivery dates and are responsible for compliance with and adjustment of KPIs
Accuracy: You ensure compliance with legal regulations (e.g. driving and rest times, dangerous goods regulations) Take responsibility! As the interface between drivers, customers and partners, your professional communication will ensure that transportation runs smoothly. Thanks to your strength in finding solutions, you can quickly resolve problems and conflicts in day-to-day operations.
Documentation: You maintain a sustainable reporting system, present this to the divisional management and support strategic planning.

Qualification

What makes you special - your expertise:

Completed training as a businessman (m/f/d) for forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in dispatching in long-distance transport and network planning
Team leadership with heart: You are a motivator and lead your team with empathy and clarity.
Communication skills: You are a strong communicator and assertive, both within the team and with customers and management.
Affinity for numbers: You are familiar with scheduling software and enjoy working with MS Office.
Personality: You are an organizational talent who can maintain an overview in a stressful and dynamic environment and confidently set priorities.
Flexibility: In order to get an idea of the transport processes on site, you will regularly be on business trips.
