We are currently looking for a Junior AIT Engineer for the Galileo program for a long-term project at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad. Tasks

Conducting and developing functional tests in satellite programs (AIT)
Supporting the creation and validation of test procedures
Collaborating on the electrical integration of satellite components
Preparing and configuring test systems for instrument-specific tests
Developing and debugging test scripts
Evaluating test data, creating test reports, and customer documentation
Participation in error analysis and configuration monitoring
Support in the ongoing operation of satellites/instruments

Qualification

Completed technical degree, e.g., in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable
Initial professional experience in satellite AIT is an advantage
Knowledge of ECSS standards, encryption of satellite communications, and TM / TC (PUS)
Programming skills in Java and experience with Unix / Linux systems
Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are an advantage
Willingness to work shifts and occasionally outside the factory
A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
