Maintenance & Plant Optimization Engineer (m/f/x)

At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Nordenham, you will join as a Maintenance & Plant Optimization Engineer in a technical environment where your analytical skills and implementation strength are key. Positioned at the interface between maintenance, production, and engineering, you will play a decisive role in enhancing the performance of production equipment. The gross annual salary ranges, depending on qualifications, from €73,000 to a maximum of €76,000. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Tasks

  • Analyse and optimise production equipment to increase efficiency
  • Identify and eliminate weaknesses in machines and processes
  • Conduct root cause analyses for recurring technical malfunctions
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to increase equipment availability
  • Support the specification and implementation of new machinery
  • Independently manage medium- to large-scale maintenance projects
  • Coordinate and supervise external service providers

Qualification

  • Degree in engineering or industrial engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in maintenance and plant optimisation
  • Experience with automation and control systems (e.g. PLCs, sensors)
  • Knowledge of TPM, Lean Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance is an advantage
  • Fluent German and English skills (at least C1 level)
  • Willingness to continue learning and adapt to technological changes
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is absolutely required
