Manager Business Travel & Supplier Management (m/f/x)

We are currently recruiting a seasoned Manager Business Travel & Supplier Management on behalf of our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH for the location in Taufkirchen near Munich. In this role, you will be responsible for company-wide travel management, advise internal stakeholders and manage external service providers. Tasks

Advising and supporting internal departments on all business travel-related matters
Contributing to supplier management on both local and European levels – especially in collaboration with the Travel Management Company
Defining requirements for tender processes, implementing procurement strategies and monitoring contract performance
Supporting implementation projects within the travel environment, including communication planning
Ensuring compliance with the corporate travel policy and managing exceptions in line with compliance and ethics guidelines
Coordinating the corporate shuttle service between sites, including scheduling and emergency management

Qualification

Completed university degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, International Management or a comparable field
Professional experience in corporate travel management and as a Travel Manager
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
CV in English required
Valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
