Tasks

• Carry out detailed assessments of suppliers in the tendering phase and actively participate in the decision to introduce new products
• Efficiently manage the entire supply chain with a particular focus on reviewing and ensuring quality aspects
• Responsibility for on-time delivery of products in compliance with quality standards and cost budgets where applicable
• Identifying potential risks with suppliers and taking short-term action to improve supplier performance
• Regular review of supplier certifications in close consultation with relevant stakeholders
• Evaluate supplier capacities, capabilities and overall performance and actively participate in their further development
• Support in conducting annual supplier assessments and presenting operational performance in key meetings

Qualification

• Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics or supply chain quality
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management, quality management and supply chain
• Basic knowledge of lean management and project management is required
• In-depth user knowledge of SAP/R3 and experience with Google Suite
• Business fluent English and basic German language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Valid work permit for the European Union
