Tasks

  • Translate approved maintenance documentation into shop floor documentation
  • Quantify cost (effort, materials) of work, provide build processes and work orders (BOM, task to be performed)
  • Act as interface between the maintenance organization and other stakeholders such as the customer/CAMO/program office
  • Provide technical solutions to problems that arise during MRO activities (e.g. Part145/M requirements)
  • Support the workshop throughout the MRO phase, event preparation and execution, up to the return of the aircraft to the customer
  • Coordinate activities with the service and design office to prepare documentation, optimize repair plans according to the approved maintenance documentation and act as technical contact for the technical services for repairs not included in the approved documentation, based on the level of delegation
  • Inputs: - Program Directive, Service Bulletins, Technical Publications (IRF, AOT, …), Maintenance Manual (incl. Supplier MM), airworthiness directives, customer approved documentation
  • Outputs: - Cost estimates, construction process, work order (work + bill of materials), technical notes, deviations from standard

Qualification

  • Completed Master/Diploma degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, aerospace and manufacturing engineering
  • Knowledge in MRO required
  • Detailed specialized knowledge in MS-Office as well as experience in the programs SAP and OPAL an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German and business fluent English Knowledge of
  • A valid work permit for the EU (no student visa)
