Tasks

Selection of appropriate measurement strategies and systems for specific inspection tasks
Preparation of 3D CAD models for measurement planning and creation of measurement sequence control
Execution, analysis and visualization of measurement results
Identification of deviations as well as derivation and implementation of corrective actions
Collaboration with various departments for technical coordination
Documentation and further development of measurement processes and standards

Qualification

Completed degree in Geomatics, Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field of study
Extensive experience in metrology and in the field of jigs & tools
Several years of experience in engineering, manufacturing / production, quality management, and geomatics / surveying
Good knowledge in performing 3D measurement methods, especially using 3D coordinate measuring machines and length measurement tools
Practical experience with laser measurement and scanning systems
Confident use of Spatial Analyzer, Polyworks or comparable metrology software; good knowledge of Google Workspace
Business fluent German skills (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B1)
Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
