Operational Purchasing Clerk (m/f/x)

Our client, Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel, is looking for an Operational Purchasing Clerk with immediate effect who is able to convince with negotiating skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness. This position requires your strong teamwork skills and excellent interpersonal behaviour in order to work successfully with internal and external partners. Tasks

  • Responsible for the procurement of all materials and equipment required to ensure smooth operations
  • Obtaining and evaluating offers from national and international suppliers to select the best conditions
  • Independently initiating orders and proactively following up until on-time delivery
  • Monitoring punctual delivery and ensuring the quality of the delivered goods
  • Close cooperation and coordination with the requesting departments in order to optimally cover the demand for materials and services
  • Organising and managing the procurement of workwear for the workforce
  • Responsibility for issuing and managing t-gate authorisations and issuing keys

Qualification

  • Successfully completed vocational training in the technical or commercial field as a solid foundation for the tasks in purchasing and project management
  • Good knowledge of business management principles to support operational purchasing processes and cost optimisation
  • Experienced user knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Advanced knowledge of English
  • Existing work permit for the European Union
