OSC Operations Manager (m/f/x)

Are you an experienced project manager with sound know-how in the field of obsolescence management and would like to contribute your expertise in an international high-tech environment? Then we are looking for you as OSC Operations Manager at our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth!

In this key position in the Obsolescence Service Centre (OSC), you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and management of obsolescence projects that contribute significantly to the success of our aviation solutions. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and use your strong skills in project management, risk management and process optimisation to ensure the highest quality standards. Play an active role in shaping the future of aviation and help to ensure that Airbus Helicopters' innovative solutions continue to be safe and reliable.

The gross annual salary is approximately €60,000. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid work permit in the EU (not a student visa).

Tasks

  • Carrying out a comprehensive as-is analysis in close cooperation with local project teams and the management of the Obsolescence Service Centre (OSC)
  • Define and implement an action plan to restructure obsolescence activities to achieve quality and delivery targets for internal and external customers
  • Creation, maintenance and tracking of dashboards and project-related documents to control and monitor obsolescence activities in accordance with OSC objectives
  • Identifying risks and opportunities as well as developing and implementing corrective and preventive measures
  • Regular reporting to OSC management and internal customers on progress, results and performance of activities
  • Supporting the implementation of new business processes and tools in Donauwörth in close cooperation with OSC management in France
  • Contributing to the definition, harmonisation and standardisation of business processes and tools in coordination with the operational teams
  • Establishing transparent communication structures and close relationships with internal departments such as Strategic Procurement, Design Office and support teams

Qualification

  • Completed studies in business administration or economics
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of purchasing, customer service, logistics, aerospace, project management and supply chain management
  • Experience in the field of technical publications
  • Sound user knowledge of relevant IT tools such as MS Excel, MS Office, SAP, GSuite and special Airbus Helicopters tools (Start, CMM, What is Where, Windchill, BFlow, Sharecopter)
  • Business fluent in English and very good knowledge of German, knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Work permit for the EU available
