Tasks

• Development and support of control systems for exhaust gas purification systems and plants
• Programming the control software
• Setting up complex, computer-controlled systems and plants
• Setting up software test benches and verifying the control software
• Commissioning of systems and plants
• Collaboration in risk assessments

• Preparation of software and test documentation

Qualification

• Successfully completed studies or technician in the fields of electrical engineering or automation technology
• Professional experience in programming and commissioning PLC control systems required
• Specialist knowledge of mechanical engineering and safety technology is desirable
• Know-how in common fieldbus systems (VARAN, PROFIBUS DP, PROFISAFE)
• Knowledge of automation technology, primarily Sigmatek, S7 Classic and TIA Portal PLC controllers or similar controllers
• Knowledge of the programming language C / C++ and object-oriented software development is an advantage
• Good knowledge of German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally at home and abroad
