Process Engineer Manufacturing Control Aviation (m/f/x)

At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Stade, you will take on a key role as Process Engineer Manufacturing Control Aviation in the assembly of the vertical tail plane for the A320. Tasks

  • Supervise the vertical tail plane assembly (A320/A330), including introducing modifications and developing new production concepts
  • Plan individual parts and assemblies (both new and serial production), including routing creation
  • Handle non-conformities, analyze disruptions, and initiate corrective actions
  • Create and maintain work instructions, SOIs (Standard Operation Instructions), and BOMs (Bills of Materials)
  • Provide design advisory with a focus on deadlines and cost-efficiency
  • Participate in cost optimization projects and prepare technical assessments to improve processes
  • Lead and contribute to production optimization projects

Qualification

  • Completed technical degree or qualification as a technician / certified specialist in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace, or a comparable field
  • Initial professional experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, production control, or configuration management
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Management and solid experience in project management
  • Advanced user knowledge of SAP, TiCon, and Google Workspace; experience with Skywise is a plus
  • Fluent German skills (minimum C1) and proficient English skills (minimum B2)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system occasionally (5–6 times per year)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is required
